The Microtech brand identity was in desperate need of an update, having never been revisited since the company's inception in 1994.
The identity needed to reflect Mircotech's superior quality and rigorous engineering and manufacturing tolerances.
The result is a combination of utility and technology, designed to scale the brand into the future and honor the origins of one of the world's first tools.
Identity updates were carried through to all merchandise, brand collateral and product material.
To ensure alignment with updated brand standards, we managed all product photography, including production, shooting and editing. Products needed to be shown at their best and extra attention was given to themed release products.
The web experience needed to reflect the same exceptional quality as Microtech's products. To do this, we prioritized the product in a way to highlight its form, features and functionality.
Products were used as hero characters, allowing users to dive deeper into their stories through categories and ultimately to a product's detail page.
The mobile experience was designed to be equally immersive, minimizing the interface, allowing the user's focus to reamin on the product and its details.
